Knowing when to clean or replace guttering isn't always straightforward, but there are a few giveaway signs to tell you that your guttering has reached the end of its life and needs replacement.
Gutter cleaning is great for restoring the shine and clearing blockages and dirt, but it wont solve damage or wear and tear from years of weathering storms.
If you get rain escaping through cracks, the gutter is visibly detaching from its brackets or the fascia boards or you're noticing a build up of mouldy coloured dirt where two sections of guttering meet, those are signs that you need more than a cleaning visit.
While our cleaners can reconnect two sections that have come adrift from each other, it's probably better to get help from a gutter repairer first - many local guttering companies can help. We recommend starting with Bristol Guttering, our sister company who offer repairs alongside cleaning.
